Design communication 1 was integral to the understanding of Design Studio 1A. While designing and crafting models to understand form, Design Communication 1 simultaneously taught students how form transfers into drawings. Instructed by professor Anali Gharakhani, Design Communications 1 became the introductions to many programs like Rhino 5, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign in order to take lessons into our own hands. Understanding the use of line weights to create depth in a drawing, to using contours to express three dimensional form and various other methods helped the development into the start of our learning as design students.
